What Is Website Maintenance
Okay, you now have your shiny new website. It is nice for your customers if you keep it updated every now and then with news, event announcements about your business, say, a new product, a special event day, or even a new price list. By keeping your website updated, it shows your customers that you are actively keeping them informed.
Regular backups are also essential to safeguard and protect your data in order to keep your website up & running seamlessly.
As an optional extra to our business website development options, we offer two different ways to keep your website site easily updated.
Our maintenance options give you three different ways of keeping your website easily updated regularly.
Content Management System (CMS)
- What is CMS? A content management system (or CMS) is a way for you to easily update the information on your website yourself, without having to worry about making changes to the structure of the pages, nor having to worry about any sort of programming.
A Content Management System allows you to dip in & out to make small information changes as and when required, thus keeping your site up-to-date easily.
It also offers multiple access levels. You don’t need to install any software on your computer for it as you do it through your browser.

Regular Backup Package

Maintenance Management
- If you don’t have the time or feel nervous about or simply can’t be bothered to manage your site yourself, don’t worry, we can do it for you. We update your website for you when you need it for a monthly fee. This also includes the regular backup of your website. Depending on the size of your website and the amount of updates required, for a monthly fee we will make the requested content updates to your website, saving you money compared to ad-hoc requestes charged at our normal hourly rate.
